Stacey Sherrell Scott is a vibrant force in the performing arts, hailing from the rich cultural backdrop of South Carolina. A proud alumna of The Juilliard School, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree that has become the foundation of her dynamic career. As a dedicated member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actor’s Equity Association, Stacey has woven her passion for theater arts and education into every facet of her professional life.
Currently, she serves as the Director of Education at The Classical Theatre of Harlem, where she creates and facilitates transformative theatre residencies for students across New York City, fostering creativity and connection in diverse communities. Stacey actively collaborates with Columbia University’s Center for Justice, a trailblazing organization dedicated to dismantling mass incarceration and redefining approaches to justice and safety. Beyond her educational roles, Stacey is the visionary behind "Setting Your Stage," a successful acting and performance coaching business. Here, she empowers aspiring actors with tools and strategies for high school, college and professional auditions, as well as deepening their understanding of acting techniques.
